LeeRoy says:
This kind of shit has no place in baseball. And it's what I hate about the NBA and the Yankees. Let me explain:
Working on a theory about how baseball subjugates the ego and basketball puffs it up. I.E. There is no equivilent of Lebron James, Michael Jordon or dunking on a guy in baseball. You can hit a grand slam on a pitcher but you can't get in his face about it. And if you did he'd likely strike you out the next three times you met because people that hit grand slams hit .300 but strike out constantly. There's very little grand standing in baseball. Really only a pitcher can win a game by himself (usually) but the best pitchers lose a lot too (I'm looking at you Cliff Lee (still my hero)) - Cy Young won 511 games but he lost 316. Anyway, I've got a lot more on this but you get the idea.
What sucks about Jorge is that he's trying to bring ego into a sport that just isn't that ego driven. What sucks about the Yankees is the same thing. They want A Rod to be Jordan or Lebron but he's not. And the Yankees look like asses trying to do this. Just get out there and hit Jorge, or quit.
