Choochita says:
Did you hear about Jorge Posada??! So apparently, less than one hour prior to the start of yesterday's Red Sox/Yankees game, Posada (who was bumped down to the 9th hitting spot b/c he had been doing shitty) went to Joe Girardi and bowed out from the game. Basically was like, "yeah, no thanks, I'm not gonna play today." Which of course prompted all sorts of drama and speculation with one of their other coaches reporting this to the press and stating that this was not because of injury or illness.
Can you imagine? I mean, my god, what disrespect and ridiculousness to tell your manager an hour before a game against your most bitter rivals that you don't want to play because you are insulted about a decision he made. Isn't that the exact way to get yourself sure to not be bumped up to a better spot in the future?
Divas. All of them.
Just to clarify, by "Divas. All of them." I was specifically referring to the Yankees.
Discuss (if you'd like).
